I am a daughter, a sister, a cousin, an aunt, a wife, a student, a teacher, a coach, a youth worker, a volunteer, a friend, a blood donor, a dog lover, a dragon boater, a coffee drinker, a traveller, and I am also not many things.
I was born and raised in Vancouver, BC and graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor in Arts, with a major in Visual Arts. Part way through I received a diploma in Residential Interior Decorating and Design at the Vancouver Technical Institute with Honours. I continued to complete my Bachelor in Education for Secondary Art and Home Economics. I've taught for the Vancouver School Board for the last 4 years in courses including Fine Arts, Drama, Social Studies, Food & Nutrition, Textiles, Film, Photography, Ceramics, Cafeteria & Culinary Arts. I've also been a child & youth worker at a Neighbourhood House for nearly 8 years. |
